Cass Byrnes

Personal Trainer & Bootcamp

Cass’ interest in a career in athletics began as a field hockey player in high school, doing her senior internship with the school’s athletic trainer. Finding inspiration in the combination of sports and the medical field, she went to West Chester University for a bachelor's degree in athletic training and a masters degree in exercise and sport physiology. Cass spent the following 8 years working as an athletic trainer with Division II athletics teams where she was responsible for injury prevention/evaluation, pre and post-surgical rehabilitation, and sport specific strength and conditioning. While Cass loved working with collegiate athletes, she decided to try a different avenue and spent a year as the clinical assistant to an orthopedic surgeon at Premier Orthopedics. Her experience there is what led her to her true passion- helping people find pain free movement and fitness through mobility, strength, and cardiovascular endurance. She went on to get her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and spent the past year and a half training a variety of clients with goals of weight loss, increasing muscle mass, improving mobility and overall developing a healthy lifestyle.

Cass is so excited to bring her combined medical background and passion for personal training and fitness to the J’aime Fitness community.
